Well, it seems like ND and WashU have the most portability out of those, but if you don't care where you practice as long as its in a major city, I'd go with U of I.

If you have no clue where you want to be geographically, you can get a job in a "major city" from any one of those, so more criteria would help.

i remember reading a thread where a current ND student was saying their summer associate placement was @ 5% this year.
and at least for WUSTL i don't think it's the case that it's degree is portable. it really seems that their employment distribution for the most part matches where their students come from. this could mean that students just go back to where they're from after they graduate, though there is some migration to the midwest by those from other locations (which makes sense).
