Try e-mailing the Federalist Society. Seriously. I bet they track such things and they would appreciate your interest.extempore88 wrote:I know there are already threads on which law schools are the most conservative/liberal. I am trying to measure this based on the number/proportion of faculty that are members of the Federalist Society. Which law schools have the highest federalist society membership? Is there any site that reports this?
If you find such a ranking please be sure to post it...I need to know which schools to avoid at all cost.extempore88 wrote:Thanks for the advice, Dignan. If I hear anything interesting I'll post it back here for the edification of the TLS community
NU is not at all conservative (it is quite liberal as a whole, in fact). It does, however, do a wonderful job at fosterng intellectual freedom and have a trifecta of big-name conservative professors (Calabresi, Presser, and McGinnis) as well as some good, young law & economics types.Rawlsian wrote:I don't know the answer to your question, but the founder of the Federalist Society, Steven Calebresi, teaches at NW.
