Top Law Schools

I am only planning to apply to schools located in California. I needed some advice from you all about which ones are the most competitive, fairly competitive, or if any of the following are safer schools (which I doubt)

Here they are:

UC Hastings
UCLA
UC Berkeley
Loyola Law School
Pepperdine
Southwestern
USC
Whittier
Stanford (a dream school)

Does anyone know about the specifics of how competitive, what the reputation is, etc. of the above mentioned law schools? I'm weighing my options here.
