Hi all,
I just got accepted to UVA (which i am sooo excited about, they are my #1 choice!) and got an information packet from them after talking to an admissions dean on the phone. The only problem is, they didn't mention anything about scholarships in the packet. I have pretty competitive numbers (171 on the LSAT and a 4.0), so hopefully they will give me something. Does anyone know how UVA does their scholarships and/or if it is probable that they will give me something? Thanks

IDK. Thought I'd give you a bump, though.

UVA traditionally gives scholarships in two rounds: Full-tuition scholarships at acceptance, and then a wide range of scholarships in late March. The fact that you haven't heard yet doesn't mean you won't get a large scholarship, some of the scholarships they give out in late March are apparently full tuition or close to it. I would expect something similar this year.
If you're that nervous about it, you can E-mail the adcomm you spoke to. Just be honest, tell them that it's your #1 choice but you want to know about financial aid first and would like to know when you'll hear on such things. They'll tell you when you can expect to hear, if nothing else.
