Top Law Schools

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone else is actively searching for jobs while waiting for your decisions? Unlike the professionals who are going back to school after having worked a few years, I'm graduating this year with no formal full-time work experience. So I applied to law school, but I'm also actively looking for a job. I'm starting to get phone interviews, and that led to me thinking about the scenario that I get into law school and also find a job... what am I going to do?

There's also one minor caveat. I'm trying to stay in a specific state, so if I get into a law school in that state and a job in that state, what should I do? What if it's a job in another state? What if the law school is in another state? etc.

Anybody else on the same boat or had to make a similar decision? Advice/thoughts would be appreciated.

I am also going straight out of undergrad to law school. I just landed a part-time job at law firm in AZ, which will last me until I graduate. Does the law school you are thinking of have a part-time program? That would allow you to work full-time and go to school part-time. If the employer is willing to work with your schedule, it's something to consider.

Also, many law schools limit the hours you can work while enrolled full-time (ex: CU does not allow its students to work their first year, then they can only work 20 hrs/week max the following years). You could always work in the summer...
