do you have any reason to believe you won't be accepted?

not really except my gpa is a little below median. but my lsat is above the 75th and ive got good 'soft' stuff so i think im OK.

if i dont make it i will be disappointed but i wouldnt have gone anywhere else. ive been told i should have applied somewhere else so that i could maybe ask for some more financial aid. dunno, maybe so

I applied to 5, but would really only seriously consider a couple.

you'll be okay...regional schools are very much focused on keeping their stats up, especially lsat.

I actually applaud this . . . much more logical than applying to shit law schools scattered all over the country out of desperation to go to any law school that will take you

I wish I had only applied to one - the one I'll be going to. Spending hundreds of dollars spent on app fees is overrated.

i applied to five with exactly the same mindset. it doesn't seem to make much sense applying to a bazillion schools when you'd really only consider....5.

Applied to 10.

Only would seriously consider half of them.

You guys are entirely missing the main reason for applying to many law schools: scholarship fishing.

I applied to 2 in my area and I think my chances are good. If I don't get in I'll do a masters in public policy for a year and reapply. Hope I get in tho.

I applied to three, but should have only applied to one because I knew it was the one I was going to go with! I expected to get in and did. I applied to one lower and one higher and got into both, also, but it didn't change my decision. I only spent about $100 total, but it about $65 of that was not necessary.

I only applied to just one last cycle, but got wl'd and never got in. Re-applied this year (with my shiny new LSAT score) along with 4 other schools.

definitely. woops. hope it doesnt bite me in the bunzoes.

i guess my thought was that this way i could make my PS and my LoRs focused on why i want to go to this particular law school and no other (which is true). when it comes time for me to ask for more money, i will just tell them i have a good job and would like the financial flexibility to pick the right job (local public service) when i graduate. if i have to pay too much i just wont go.

my dad told me that the way i reason, i should be a social worker and not a lawyer. my dad's funny and probably right.

I only applied to one and was fortunate enough to get in. It was my best option financially and most likely the highest ranked school I could have gotten into.
