Top Law Schools

Ok so if you had to choose between American U and Depaul which one would you choose, first two Ive heard from so im curious which one i should toss.

DePaul's a good school but American's got a better reputation. Also, w/o $$$ info this is quite the no-brainer. American.

Would you rather be in Chicago or DC?

I don't know Im from Orange County, CA so they will both be a culture/weather shock

I'd still take American over DePaul w/$15K. DC weather > Chicago weather.

I like Chicago over DC ... but as far as the schools go, I like American over DePaul.

It also depends on what you want to do. American is known for Int'l law, depaul is known for..... nothing actually lol. I honestly would rather pay American sticker price than Depaul 15k, but that's because I want Int'l law.

American's marketing dept. really deserves some kind of award

From my experience, DePaul has a strong reputation in the local Chicago legal community. There are quite a few prominent local attorneys, judges and politicians who went there. If you want to stay in Chicago, it would probably be a very good choice. However, I don't think its reputation extends far beyond the city.
