Cardozo $$$ vs Fordham $

I have a full tuition scholarship to Cardozo that is guaranteed w/ no strings attached for all three years. I think there may be a stipend as well but I'm not sure what it is yet. They also offered me a guaranteed spot in their on campus housing which I will most likely not be utilizing. On the other hand, I received a 15k scholarship from Fordham.

Some background info: I want to live and practice in the city. I'm particularly interested in IP/Entertainment law and I don't really want to go into Big Law.

Any help/insight would be appreciated...I'm severely confused!

Fact that you want to do IP law made me vote for Cardozo.

So basically you're looking at $73k in loans at Cardozo vs $163k in loans at Fordham. I'd go with Cardozo.

If Cardozo offers a stipend on top of all that it's no question.

As it stands... I have no idea and I'm interested in following your decision process.

I vote for the Columbia/NYU at sticker option that you no doubt should have.

OP likely won't get higher than Cornell with a 3.7/168.

Given OP's goals, Cardozo is not an unreasonable choice. I have friends attending, and will not trash the school. That said, I turned down decent money at Cardozo (not a guaranteed full ride, however) to pay sticker at Fordham, and I'm certain I made the right choice, given my own goals. Before making a final decision, OP needs to visit both schools and talk to current students and recent grads, if possible. Cornell is also a likelihood, given OP's numbers. This is a personal decision, and we can advise at best.

Concur that OP will need to retake and hit 171+ for NYU/CLS.

AP, you just made it. Congrats.

Thanks for the opinions! I think I will just have to visit before try to make such a huge decision. Also I have applied to Cornell as well but I prefer the city BC that is where my SO will be going to school...
