Questions : Is low rank Law School that bad? + Canadian GPA

Hi guys,
i want to start preparing for law school as soon as i graduate this april
however not many people around me are experts at law schools and
they have been telling me that there is not much point in going to lower rank
law schools because it won't get me the job and i will be in debt.
my parents will be paying for me so i am not so so worried about the money
but i am worried about not being able to get into law firms or not be able to find a job.
i am schooling in Canada and apparently canadian GPA when translated into US GPA
it rises because it's more tough this side. (is this true?)
i think my gpa is around 3 overall and 3.3or higher in the last 2 years for my major
i did specialized honors degree in marketing and finance.
i have my own company that i have been running since 2006 and its doing pretty well
so maybe i could prove myself to be an entrepreneur... all these different experiences
i have, i would like to get in to maybe not the best but one of well known law schools..
I need to start researching for LSAT tests and a friend of mine got 170 in LSAT
so assuming i would get between 160~170, do i have a chance of getting into a
well known law school? is there anything else i can start preparing for my chances to be higher?
well.. i got too many questions crammed but help me out,
i really want to do well in my life.
thank you
