Top Law Schools

I'm wondering about the "portability" of a degree from the U of Iowa. I've looked at some forum topics, and it seems like the consensus is that even though the school's USNWR rank is good, the job prospects outside of the Midwest aren't great. For someone who is not concerned with Big Law but doesn't want to remain in the Midwest, would Iowa be a poor choice?

If you don't want to end up in Iowa/the midwest, I'd say don't go to Iowa. You may be able to go somewhere else, but the odds are against you.
