Alright, I'll give it a try.

But I only have a 3.0, and that's not going to radically change by the end of this semester. I'm not going to get into T14 regardless of whether I retake or not....

So what should I do with the choices I have right now? I need to pick a school at some point and right now these are my options.

If you all happened to be in my position what would you do? (Besides retake and try again!)

If you have lived in Kentucky, and attending UK would be cheaper, then I would pick Kentucky. But really I think it comes down to personal preference. Just keep your debt at a minimum and go somewhere that you would enjoy.

Also, even if you can't get into a T-14, retaking could still be worth it.

Show your parents this:

This example profile got 60k from Richmond with a 3.1 and a 164.

How about PSU v. UK v. Chicago Kent??

Does that change anything?

No. I would go to either PSU or UK over Kent. Especially if Kent is at sticker. Your parents probably don't want to spend 200k for a law degree for a school like Kent. If you really really really wanted to work in Chicago and you had minimal debt then Kent could make sense, but it doesn't seem like this is the case for you.

Okay well let's assume price/debt is not part of the equation...

Chicago Kent seems to employ more people with higher salaries, or is the Chicago market just too hard to get into?
UK has the lowest median salary of all... should that deter me?

I don't really care where I live, I just want to go to the best school possible, so any insight would really help!
