What are my chances? USC 3.9 / LSAT 170-173

Post by macncheeese » Tue Sep 18, 2018 5:30 pm

Wondering what my admissions chances are at T14 schools. My info:
- Graduated from USC with a 3.91 GPA / Double Major English & Film (Critical Studies)
- Dean's List all semesters
- Mentored by two highly-celebrated (in literary world) writers while in undergrad
- Won some writing awards in college
- Acted in film/tv/commercials for 7 years (high school through just after college)
- 3 years work experience after college - 2 years as assistant to a major producer (film)
- Studied abroad in high school
- Have lived all over (NYC, Miami, Paris, LA) but am American
- female, Caucasian

Considering going to law school since I want to go into politics. Scoring between 170-173 on LSAT practice tests (haven't taken the actual exam yet). Top choices would be HLS, Yale, Stanford, Columbia.
Thanks.

The quoted stats are all that will really matter. Just get an official test score in the 170s and you probably have a good shot at most of the t14. I think you probably need around 174+ to have a strong shot at HYS, so if you can get that score on test day, then you'll hopefully be one of the fortunate ones deciding between HYS and major scholarship money at a mid t14.
