4.04 LSAC 164 LSAT t-14 help

Post by tp135 » Sun Aug 12, 2018 9:38 pm

First off, I am going to retake. I stumbled on LG and lost my tempo and know I can score better. That being said, I am curious what my chances are at the bottom half of the T-14. I have over a year of F500 work experience, top 10 public university, and other decent softs. I am a non-URM. I appreciate your input. The schools I am curious about are below.

UVA
MICH
BERK
CORNELL
NW
GEORGETOWN

USC
UCLA
WASH U

Why don’t you wait to apply when you have a better LSAT- preferably in the 170’s? Don’t waste that GPA. What were you consistently scoring on timed practice tests?

I know someone that had your numbers and a 163. Got into a T6, top student, V5. Got Scholly too, but may have been need based. 170 is nice but may be hard if this is your third retake, and youve been studying for 3.5 years (me!), or have pressure from family (though, you have to what's best for you, not them, so may pay to explain that 170+ helps lots and your not being elitist).

Yes, I did score lower than my PT, hence why I am for sure going to be retaking. I am just curious where I sit today, might take some stress off if I have a decent shot at some good schools. And for what it is worth, it is only my first take.
