170, 3.45, Direct from top-10 UG
Just got my second LSAT back and managed to get 170. Will probably have between a 3.4 and 3.5 but do not know for certain, since I am still a Junior. I plan to apply as soon as apps open in the fall (2018-2019 cycle). Any advice on retakes/ED strategy? I would like to go to a T-14. I hear Virginia ED is fairly accommodating to splitters like myself. Thanks, all!

I should add that I am NOT a URM, and that my softs include Division I athletics (30 hours a week all year, which I hope will ameliorate my mediocre GPA in the eyes of adcoms)

MyLSN predicts you'll get in to UVA, and have a shot at Michigan/Duke/Northwestern but don't expect any $$$. You'll need another few LSAT points to open up scholarship funds or accept a school outside the T-13.

Since I am unlikely to get much scholarship money anyways, do you think it would be smart to apply Early Decision?

The smart thing is to retake. If you can get a 170, you can get higher than a 170. At your gpa, every lsat point is $$$$$$. even if you only get to a 173, its a big difference.DrLeoSpaceman wrote:Since I am unlikely to get much scholarship money anyways, do you think it would be smart to apply Early Decision?
