3.95 GPA/168-171 LSAT
So, I'm taking the September LSAT and have been studying for ~2 months. I'm consistently testing around a 170, and I'm doubtful that on test day I can get much higher. Given my stats, what are my chances at HYS? Should I consider applying ED to U Chicago?
GPA: 3.95
LSAT: 168-171
softs: worked as a legal assistant at a top NYC big law firm, holds a master's degree

You don't have stats yet. Come back when you have an actual LSAT. The difference between a 168 and a 171 is massive (literally tens of thousands of dollars in scholarship funding) when applying to the T13.

I wouldn't ED to chicago if I were you and I have similar stats (assuming you actually get a 169+). I'm not ok with agreeing to pay 330k before I've at least considered where else I get in and how much $$$ they give me

Yeah, come back and ask when you have a score. You can also use http://mylsn.info/r/pre-law/admissions/search/ to mess around with numbers.

come back when you have an actual score. The difference between 168/3.95 and 171/3.95 is staggering when it comes to scholarships, and admissions for T3
168/3.95 basically no shot at T3 (unless URM)
171/3.95 I'd say decent shot at HS, moonshot for Y
