177 and 3.61 - T14 Chances Forum

Sept 2016 LSAT - 177

My GPA is a 3.61 and for the past two years it has been 3.8x (not that that matters.) Undergrad at a top 20 school.

I'm a KJD with a minor C&F issue. I wrote a "Why X" for schools that had that option. My softs are perfectly average.

I'm in at Boston College, Vanderbilt, and Georgetown. Priority reserve list at Duke (priority track yield protect hopefully.)

In with significant money from Michigan on down. Likely in with some money from Penn and NYU. In at Chicago and Columbia where you could use money from NYU to negotiate poor scholly offers. 70/30 in at Harvard. Likely ding from Stanford and Yale barring significant outside influence. Maybe a 35% chance of getting into one of them?

Berkely could be an outlier because of their reputation for being unkind to traditional splitters, though you're barely under their 25th GPA so *shrug*. 75/25 in?

Guess derived simply from pouring over calculator numbers for a few months.

Likely ding from Stanford and Yale.

I fully expect the ding from Yale and I didn't apply to Stanford because I know how much they value GPA.

With very similar stats I got into every T14 except Stanford (denied) and Yale (did not apply). Got good scholarship offers as well. You should have a good cycle.

With a 3.72 and 176 I got into H, waitlisted at S and Y, in everywhere else.
