I got a 3.85 GPA / 163 LSAT and I'd like to go to UVA. I'm obviously going to retake the test and I'm reasonably confident that I can improve my score given that 163 is on the low end of what I've scored on practices.
However, assuming that I fail to improve my score, I am curious as to what everyone thinks my chances are as things stand, factoring in that I am a Virginia resident.
I have fairly strong soft credentials (House of Reps internship, etc), but I was also suspended from my undergraduate school for one semester.

Your chances at UVA as is are slim to none.

You have a shot, but that 163 puts you at their 25th percentile (likely below it if numbers go up for everyone as expected this year). Even a few more points would give you a much better chance.
That said, what was the reason for your suspension? Because that could be a problem.
