To be clear I'm saying I would take 150k from NU over $ HCCN. Back when I applied with almost identical numbers I only got into CLS, NYU and Northwestern with no money at CLS/NYU. That wad the standard 3.4 splitter cycle in those days. It's clearly gotten better, but avoiding the waitlist gauntlet at all of the non-Northwestern, non-NYC T-14's is still a challenge. I wouldn't count on having that many options in the end, and I'd bet good money you won't have a better option than 150k from Northwestern.

Although you don't count as a URM you should definitely highlight that you are an immigrant and that you are the first in your family to go to college! Those two softs will give you a marginal boost.

By any chance would a Nigerian be considered a URM?

I'm still a Junior so I haven't taken it yet. I was just curious. My GPA's 3.86 (hopefully I'll improve that before graduation) and I plan on taking the LSAT June 2017 tho.

Anything above a 166 will almost definitely have you in at Harvard and Stanford and will get you $ in the T-14.

If you can break 170 you have a small shot at Y depending on your softs and you will have full scholarships at almost every T-14 below HYS
