NU ED Chances?

Post by Sparkymilarky » Thu Jan 28, 2016 6:39 am

3.5 GPA
174 LSAT

I am taking a gap year after graduating to get some work experience at a law firm.

Chances for that 150k?

Thank you,

Pretty good, I'd say. People with worse numbers have posted about getting it.

That seems optimistic. GPA is too low. Possible, not likely.

I don't know what the numbers look like this year, but this would have been good enough to get in when I did two years ago. NU seems to use ED to shore up the LSAT median and will accepts people with GPAs around over over the 25%

I'd say your chances are 90%+. Your LSAT will more than compensate for your GPA, but I don't know how the rest of your application looks. NU likes the post-graduation work experience, so that is also in your favor. If you write a good PS and interview well, you should be in there.
