Hello all. I am a trying to figure out where to apply. Yes I have looked at law school predictor, but I have also seen posts that say that is less helpful for URMs. Below are my stats.
25 yrs old, currently in my 4th year out of undergrad.
165 LSAT, second take (154 first try)
3.4 GPA from top 20 school
Half Mexican-American (Mom was born there before immigrating here)
First generation college student
Thoughts? Thanks!

I'd go for top 14 and a few safety schools. I'm not a URM but I'm a non-traditional student (27 years old, two kids, good softs) and so far I have been accepted to two schools who offered me very generous scholarship. According to the law school predictor both of these schools were a "weak consider" for me.

1. go to the URM thread and read up. There's a stat spreadsheet and you can also follow folks similar to you anecdotally.mexi0417 wrote:Hello all. I am a trying to figure out where to apply. 2. Don't know your goals or constraints, but I'd definitely look to and blanket T-20. You'll get varied and unpredictable results, but you'll definitely get some good ones. You've got a good shot to get 1-3 of CCN with your profile, and that's a pretty damn good outcome if you get some $$. HYS are far less likely, but will be worth a shot.
