What, exactly, are you going to ask Harvard and what do you expect them to tell you? "Hi, Harvard? Yeah, I'm 18 and had a bad semester of community college, is it still possible for me to be admitted in four years?" "Um, sure, it's possible. Just concentrate on getting good grades and apply and see what happens." (click) "What the hell was that about?"
You're just going to get a vague, general, "go ahead and apply, we're very holistic, blah blah" answer. Law schools LOVE to have people apply that they know they're going to reject, because it boosts their selectivity. Calling Harvard is going to give you zero insight/information.
