164 LSAT / 3.60 GPA / URM (Mexican-American)

Post by Mikellaw744 » Tue Jan 07, 2014 5:18 pm

Hello,

I took the December LSAT and thought I bombed. Received my score of a 164 and although I am not thrilled (I was PT at the low 170 range), I am curious to see if I have a chance at any of the law schools I was looking into. In case it helps I am a URM.

Law Schools I am interested in:
UT Austin
Baylor

Reach Schools -
Duke
Harvard
Stanford

Also, I am taking the Feb LSAT in hopes of increasing my score? I know it might be too late for this round but could a score bump help me any for this go around?

Thanks in advance.

Retake, Enjoy T14 with little debt. As it is, you will likely get T14 now, but expect a lot of waitlist riding. UT-Austin should be yours.

Do NOT go to Baylor, even with a full ride.

Why no UH/SMU? Seems like you're shooting for TX.

You should apply to more T-14s

UVA does really well in Texas so definitely apply there. You should retake but you can still apply this cycle and see what happens.
