Re: 170, 3.67 TFA?
Are you considering doing TFA, or have you already done it and are wondering whether or not it will be beneficial to you app?
It was more valuable several years ago, but then it became something people did because it helped their application (not just to law school), and then adcoms caught on to that and so now it is less valuable. I know people who did TFA for sincere reasons and those who did it because they thought it would look good on an app. If possible try to genuinely identify yourself as one of the former.

Re: 170, 3.67 TFA?
I'm a second year Corps Member. I'm in at NYU with a 170 and a lower GPA than yours, but I haven't heard back from Berkeley yet. I'm also a military vet, so it's hard to say which soft has helped me overcome that GPA. TFA has been a pretty big topic in all my interviews, so I have gotten the impression that it helps.drumstickies wrote:Oops, sorry for being vague. I've already finished my two years with TFA but I'm still teaching. Thanks for the responses. How about in the context of admissions for specifically NYU/Berkeley?
PM me if you have any specific questions, and good luck with your apps!
