Iowa? You'd probably get a full ride there.

I think you're out at Cornell, yes.
A string of high 150s/low 160s suggest that the T14 may not be in the cards. Either look for a regional school that will give you a big scholarship or do something else.
You could, perhaps, go learn a marketable skill...just sayin'.

Does this MA female have an LSN? I'd be interested in following her cycle.DaRascal wrote:californiauser wrote:Pretty much out at T14

Looks like I'm gonna have to get it started back up! You think I'm out at Cornell? I feel like they reserved me expecting me to bump the LSAT up a little bit. I know there was a MA female with a 3.6/160 who got accepted regular decision but she probably did some interesting things lol.
Oh boy

I'm guessing 4 takes won't be an issue, but please for the love of God actually look for a job wholeheartedly. Your last flameout thread was super obnoxious.DaRascal wrote:I wish I had applied to a good regional school. Oh well I'm gonna look for a job and retake in June. How bad is 4 takes gonna look?
Finally, go learn a trade. It may be that law school is not the best path to success for you. Do you have any idea what kind of money electricians, plumbers, and technicians make? It's quite good. More than some lawyers, with a lot less stress and debt, and it's way easier to get a job.

Take this in the spirit it's intended. Not trying to be a douche.DaRascal wrote:Haha I was being such a drama queen in that thread. Damnit damnit damnit I'm in so much trouble right now lol. I still want to go to law school, just wish I could raise my LSAT a few points.
I really, really think you should take take several years off and do something else entirely. I don't mean ring a register at CVS and live with your parents. I mean get an entry level professional gig and live on your own, even if it's a shitty studio apartment.
Your posts all scream immaturity. You need to grow up and get some perspective on the real world, outside of the cocoon of a campus or mom's basement. Law school isn't going anywhere.

Good job, buddy.Young Marino wrote:You said something pretty douchey back thereTheSpanishMain wrote:

You trollin', player? This is exactly what I'm talking about. "Nothing is my fault" comes out of your pores. "The LSAT is biased." "Obama needs to fix the economy so I can get a good job without looking that hard." "I don't want to give up my summers to do internships." You swing between crazy extremes of confidence at becoming a professional poker player to complete drama queen "poor me!" despair.DaRascal wrote:Young Marino wrote:You said something pretty douchey back thereTheSpanishMain wrote:

LOL!
Seriously though, I'm supposed to be getting low 160's. This test is too culturally biased and I'm just an average guy.
Go job hunt. If you want the type of work experience that helps in law school admissions, you're going to need to find professional employment. Ringing a register at Office Max is not what Northwestern means when they say work experience. You're going to be competing against analysts, consultants, engineers, finance guys, military veterans, etc. For the love of all that is holy, go live in the real grown up world for a bit. Trust me on this one. I just got into Northwestern with a below median LSAT, a lower GPA than yours, and I'm not a URM.
