3.4 170

3.4
170
Non urm
Good work experience; otherwise average softs
Average LORs

I plan to retake in December and hope to gain at least a point or two, but just in case I do not improve, I'm preparing to apply with these numbers.

Do I realistically have a shot at any good money at any lower t14? If not, I'm wondering if I'd be better off taking $$$ from a regional and lower-ranked school.

According to MyLSN, Michigan, Duke, and Northwestern are your best chances for $. Applicants who got scholarships with similar numbers averaged, $30,000, $50,000, and $50,000 respectively. However only about 40% - 60% of applicants with your numbers accepted to these schools got cash. Might want to consider the regional if you know for sure that you want to stay in the area and don't care about biglaw.

Someone suggested here to me that the best thing to do if you're wondering about scholarship money is to look into all the individual profiles of people who got into your desired schools with around your numbers. Perhaps they're non URM and they have average softs also. If they got decent money, you should expect a similar amount.

myLSN seems to be worse at $$ than at other things, since people don't always update their profiles with scholarship awards. I wouldn't trust it. Apply broadly, see what you get, and negotiate.
