Re: 3.2 gpa, 161 lsat, URM chances for law schools
Hey, fajita.
Fellow PR with slightly higher GPA but same LSAT.
I don't think you have a chance at UVA and will get rejected by Georgetown, Cornell, and WUSTL. Your GPA is what might stop you from getting into BC/BU/GW/Fordham, and I think you should get UNC but might not. Of course, you'll be in at all the others.
Let's just retake in October, my friend.

Hey DaRascal,
Thanks for the advice. Sounds about right. I might go ahead and apply to BU/BC/GW/Fordham to see what happens, but it does make me feel a little better that you think I have a more than decent chance for the rest that are lower ranked. Any schools in particular that you're looking at?
Let's see what October brings for us!

You might as well... I think you'll get into at least one of them (probably BU). The only problem is that it'll likely be at sticker price.
If you really want UVA I would think you'd need to ED with a high 160. It sucks but I have no doubt you'll probably get into UNC and all the schools ranked below it.
Nah not really thinking about schools this cycle. Just want to maximize my LSAT score in October and see what happens. You should go to the LSAT prep forum if you haven't already. I'm starting to use NoodleyOne's guide as a prep guideline.
