How are your softs? What type of UG did you go to? Are you K-JD (meaning you intend to go straight from college to law school)? Work experience?

From my understanding, the only Hispanics to receive URM status are of Puerto Rican and Mexican descent.

You have a good shot at H nonetheless.

Narrow it down to the last two cycles and it becomes 5 accepted, 2 waitlisted. Narrow it down to only the most recent cycle (that is coming to an end), and it becomes 3-0.

I say you have a good chance at getting accepted at H outright. If you are waitlisted, then I think it is likely that you get accepted in one of the first waitlist->acceptance waves.

Of course, a retake netting you an extra point or two (or more) would do wonders to solidify your chances at H as well as greatly increase your chances at a Hamilton (full tuition at Columbia). But that's up to you ultimately. You have a good shot at H without a retake (assuming your softs are solid).

I gather that with the higher GPA and median/low LSAT, I've got maybe a 50/50 shot at Stanford and diminishing returns at HY, but was curious whether my Cubano status might change the odds whatsoever. Discussion of URM/M has me confused on that point, hence the question.
What do you mean by "diminishing returns"?

Harvard is highly likely. you aren't technically a URM, but it should be okay anyway. Plenty of 171/4 ppl got in this cycle
