I wouldn't ED. Check out my profile for my lawschoolnumbers profile. I had a 167, 174 lsat, my GPA was only a tiny bit better, and I had average softs and no work experience. I think you will get good money at a lower t14 and some CCN action.

I wouldn't ED anywhere. Your chances are very good at Columbia and better at NYU. You should have lower t14 $$ as an option too.

Ehhh. depends on how badly you want CLS and if you'd be willing to pay sticker. If its the one school you know you want, then ED could boost a little and might be worth it for you. 3.5 is basically the rough floor for CLS for non-URM -- you can definitely get in, but its far from a guarantee. I'd feel a lot more comfortable about 3.6/174 applying RD.

Probably don't need to ED. Just apply early.

Check myLSN, last 2 years (http://myLSN.info/6o138e_1-14.jpg)

You have a good shot at Columbia and a non-zero chance at H and S.

Don't ED.

Applying early certainly helps, but there's diminishing returns before November haha! Feel free to submit them but don't feel pressured if you want to take more time to work on your personal statement, etc. I had all mine submitted within a couple days of having the October LSAT scores back and I don't think I would've heard back from any school any sooner, except maybe UVA... which I found out promptly from anyway. Not submitting them dead early might also mean you get a couple more fee waivers via email/etc. if you don't already have them.

The one thing I would say to do well ahead of time is ask for letters of recommendation. The professors I asked were very grateful if I gave them at least 5-6 weeks notice ahead of when I wanted to submit.

As far as ED, it might help solidify a shot, but it's not like you're easily out at Columbia with RD either. Just be prepared to pay the sticker price, and think long and hard about law school and if you're okay with doing that, even at CLS.

Is that a hypothetical score?
