Native American URM? You are very competitive in T14. If you retake the LSAT and get a couple more points you become a lock at HYS.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. As of now do I have any chance at HYS? Also, how many more points do you estimate I'll need to become a "lock?"

Your softs are excellent and it looks like you've got outstanding LORs. Deputydog seems pretty confident about the Native American bump. I know nothing about the Native American impact, so I can't attest to this at all.

Aside from that, your numbers are weak for T-14. I'd venture to say your best shot is Berkeley. Aside from the Native American bump, which once again I have no knowledge as to the extent this will increase your chances, I'd say your chances are slim to none at T-14. This whole process is largely numbers based; for the top end of the T-14 the numbers are just the beginning and you need to have the juice beyond that. It looks like you've got the juice but not the numbers, which is why I think chances are minimal.

Of course, I wish you the best. And the URM (particularly the Native American component) might give you an incredible bump. Aside from that, I'd say anything hedging on a 170+ should open some doors for you. Good luck!

It's definitely going to take more than a couple of points to become a lock at YHS (especially Y), but you're not terribly far from having a legitimate shot. A few more points could also get you some big money in the lower T14. You should seriously think about studying hard and retaking.

A 172+ makes you auto-admit at H and close to that at Stanford. Yale is a toss-up for everyone and your GPA is a bit low.

But without a 170+, HYS will be tough. 165+ makes you competitive at the rest of the T14.
