3.3/173 fresh phD what are my chances?

Lsat 173
Undergrad gpa 3.3
grad gpa 3.9
I'll get my phd in genetics next spring. Any chance for T14?

You definitely have a strong shot at several of the lower (non-T6) T14 schools. I suppose you might even have a shot at NYU next year, if app numbers continue to decline. Your GPA rules out Berkeley and probably Duke. You have a good to very good shot everywhere else (though you might get waitlisted for yield protection purposes at UVA and Penn if you don't apply ED).

Definitely out at YSH + CLS, Chicago and Berkeley. I would venture you are in at NYU and UVA. You are a lock for Michigan, NU, Cornell and GULC. Penn and Duke are likely to waitlist you.

Chicago is worth an app. My impression is that many PhD applicants are reviewed by a faculty panel and, since your LSAT is above their median, they just might say yes.

+1, I was accepted by Chicago with a slightly higher GPA/LSAT but with meh softs and nothing approaching a PhD
