3.35/164 White/Out-of-State at U New Mexico --- Chances?

I have heard that UNM favors in-state applicants but I was curious if my numbers could overcome it.

Only soft I have is that I am a high school history teacher at an inner city public school.

What are my chances of being admitted?

You're a lock for admission, but you should only attend if you're getting a full-tuition scholarship (which they probably don't offer). You should also understand that the degree is not going to get you a job outside of New Mexico -- and it might not get you a job at all.

I'd say your chances are very good.
