What would you guys guesstimate my LSAT score would need to be in order to have a viable chance of getting accepted to Vanderbilt. I will be taking the February LSAT.

I have very strong softs.
My GPA is 3.04, but it is an Honors GPA since I graduated from the Honors Program at my school. I am honestly not sure if that even matters :-/
And I am Hispanic. Do private schools even care or is that mostly public schools?

myLSN isn't looking too hot for you with that GPA. I would reckon you need to probably shoot above their 75th -- probably 173+.

Oh yeah. Sorry, I didn't see that. If you're a URM Hispanic, then you don't need such a laudable score. 160+ would do the trick.

That depends on what kind of Hispanic you are. IIRC not all get the URM boost.

Yeah, only Mexicans and Puerto Ricans get a significant boost.

Diversity from being another kind of hispanic can help, but its not an auto bump.

So, if my birth certificate states my mom was born in Mexico and my dad was born in Brazil, do I get to double-dip?

Are you applying this cycle? Because March is LATE.

& half URM gives you the full boost.

Yes I am applying. I submitted my application in December, but I had a bad testing experience(pneumonia) and received a 151 when my practice tests were ranging 162-168. I aksed them to place my app on hold for the February LSAT.

There are very few data points out there for URM MA splitters so chances are kind of hard to tell. (I was 3.0/16* MA too). Its safe to say youll need at least 160+. Hitting median, 169 would make you very valuable to them, and you would probably get in with a scholarship. My guess is 165+ would give you a decent shot.

No matter what, shoot for 180. Good luck on the retake!!
