This flame was so bright it was almost too hard to read.

I am a URM.

That being said, I think that 90% of all URM threads are burning hot flames by idiots that want to ignite controversy over low lsats/minority boosts/minorities in general.

Is it jealousy?

Often.

Did those individuals have severe psychological issues?

Always.

I'm sorry, but on the off-chance that this isn't a huge flame - you just don't have the reading comprehension skills to be a lawyer.

I realize that you asked for "negative" people not to respond to save your self esteem; but this isn't about your self esteem. As a lawyer you will be working for clients who will depend on your reading comprehension and logical reasoning skills. The simple fact of the matter is this: To score in the 130s on the LSAT requires those skills to be vastly below average.

You are not entitled to be a lawyer just because you want to. There are skills that are necessary to do the job, and you currently don't possess them.

I pretty much agree with your remark (harsh as it was), but you do realize that the OP hasn't posted here in over 2 years, and is unlikely to read it, lol.

I wonder where she is now?

mdass,

If you can graduate from college with a BA in Psychology, you are perfectly capable of scoring at least a 150 on the LSAT. I can pretty much guarantee. It's important to realize that many people who eventually score very highly on the LSAT started out having a very difficult time with practice tests and spent several months practicing and taking dozens of practice tests. I strongly suggest that you hold off on law school now, really study and prepare (get a tutor if you can) and take the LSAT again in the fall. Then apply for the next year. You may get into a couple of your schools now, but they will not serve you well in the long run. If you can even just get a 150, you'll have many more opportunities, and maybe some scholarships to offset the debt.
