Or any other top 20 school? Active in fraternity, have had a bunch of (non law) internships. I went to a good state school, top 30 Bweek business school (I'm a BBA), if that matters. White male, so no points there.

If you're applying this cycle, then your best bet is to ED to UVA or Georgetown because it's a bit late in the cycle. Have you checked out http://www.mylsn.info? According to that, you have a great shot at UVA if you do the expedited binding decision (their version of an ED).

If you apply early next cycle, you can RD UVA and will likely be in at Cornell on down.

If I were you I'd consider waiting until the next cycle simply because you will have more options open to you. You do have a good chance at UVA right now. From what I've read on these forums anyone above a 3.0 and 170 has a decent chance at UVA via ED, so if UVA is your dream school you could go ahead and apply now. However, if say NYU or Cornell is a better fit for you then I'd suggest waiting.

Even in a normal cycle, submitting before Christmas/New Years Day isn't very late, and this cycle look like it's getting off to a slower start than usual. There's nothing going on in the Accepted/WL/Deny forum except for a few scattered decisions.

OP, unless you'd like to postpone your life for the next year, you should ignore the folks in this thread who suggest applying next cycle. LSN suggests you've got a very good chance at UVA or GT ED. Check out LSN (GT) and LSN (UVA) and look for outcomes of people with numbers similar to yours.

I got Penn ED w/ a lower GPA. I'd throw one into their second ED asap.

yes, both are possible. play the cycle out, be patient, evaluate once you have more info.
