What Should I Do 3.76 170

Postby CalAlumni » Thu Nov 01, 2012 7:47 pm

Just got my LSAT score and am VERY disappointed (170), although I kind of expected it. I did awesome on all sections but the wretched LG's ...I guessed wrong on EVERY Zones game and misread on another game....would have had 171+ if it were not for my LG fail (I was PT'ing -2'ish on LG and PT'ing in the 171-174 range FYI).

Here are my stats:
UC Berkeley LSDAS GPA: 3.7X
LSAT: 170

I am a URM (Mexican-American)....do I have a shot at the T-14?

Why not retake in December and apply early January? Yes, that's a bit late, but with your GPA and URM status, you would still have a good shot at the upper T-14s.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I've pretty much decided to retake in December.

Anyone else have thoughts on my prospects with my stats as is?

I wouldn't even think about your prospects as-is. With another month of studying, you could potentially score a 174. Especially if you were -2 LG. LG is, as you probably know, learnable, and you could get that to -0 consistently.

If you get a 172-174, you have a shot literally everywhere because of URM.
