164 -> 171, 3.48, Non-URM

Hey TLS folks, I'm a non-URM, 2 time LSAT taker(164, 171) with a 3.48 LSAC GPA.

I'm currently deciding whether or not to apply ED somewhere before the Nov 15th deadline or just RD ride it out and test my luck. I'm considering ED'ing to Penn. The problem is I've never visited the campus and I am currently serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in South America so that won't be a possibility. I also don't know if I should take a risk and try to see if I receive $ anywhere. Any advice would be very helpful! Thank you!

You have about a 50% shot at Penn and NYU, so I wouldn't ED anywhere unless you really want to go to Penn or NYU AND you're willing to pay sticker.

You'll definitely get into 1-2 schools from Penn, Michigan, UVA, Duke, and Northwestern. You're definitely in at Georgetown and Cornell.

Many thanks for the advice! I will probably end up not ED'ing. Anybody else have a differing opinion?
