chances with this years drop in apps

Postby lawschoolguy8 » Fri Aug 10, 2012 1:52 pm

153 / 3.82 (cum laude) from UCLA / 3 years law experience

with this years drop in apps and people getting into top 20 schools with much lower lsats, what are my chances of getting into decent schools in CA?

chances are not good -- with that gpa, a retake may do some wonders, esp. if you study your ass off

I think you would probably be able to get Loyola and/or Pepperdine at or near sticker

retake, seriously. figure out what your weaknesses are and attack them. it can be done. I recommend velocity LSAT if you're looking for a course. but whatever you do, don't give up on yourself and apply with that great GPA and unimpressive LSAT.

Retake until you have an LSAT score that matches your GPA. Your chances at a top 20 are almost nonexistent.. Most reverse splitters at top 20s still hit 160+.
