My goal is to go to Wayne St. (#1 realistic choice) or MSU as I want to live and work in MI. I took June '12 LSAT and got a 151 but was scoring between 154-158 on practice tests leading up to the exam so I think I can do better. Wayne St. median = 157 and 3.39, MSU Median = 157 and 3.54
-Undergrad GPA was 3.23
-Post Undergrad Work Exp. - Around 6 years exp. in high level legal-compliance position.
QUESTION: I'm planning on retaking in Oct., but for anyone familiar with the admissions (especially at Wayne St./MSU), do I even have a chance of getting in with a 151 and 3.23 and good softs?
Also, random question not for this thread but I seriously struggle with Reading Comp. I do pretty well in all other sections but have never been able to get more than about 15 (avergae) correct responses (with guessing) in almost any reading comp section i've taken. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

You probably wont get into either. Good luck on the retake.

Re: Wayne State/MSU Admissions Question
Thanks, one follow up quesiton - If i'm planning on doing the re-take in December, does it still make sense for me to apply on Oct. 1 using my current score (while noting that i'll have an additional score coming in DEC)? Is there any negative to applying in this way?

Im not sure. A friend just asked that same question here, http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 2&t=190130 . So we shall see.
If you apply and tell them you are going to retake in Dec, they will likely just set your app to the side and wait for the results. Idk if it is advantageous to do this. It doesn't seem like it would hurt.

This is the happiest day of my life.
And I asked this question in the admissions forum but no luck yet.
