Re: Need to ED?
No way you get into a T14 without ED, IMO. It's still gonna be tough at UVA, but that's definitely your best chance.

Your GPA is above their median. If you ED early in the cycle you will get in

Is that really all there is to the formula? You make my chances sound way better than I was thinking.
I am under the impression it is pretty systematic. Especially for those that ED early in the cycle.

They have to have some minimum non-URM LSAT score though. No idea what it is though. OP's stats have to be somewhere close.

I know of a non-URM with a 160 who got in ED with a gpa over the 75%

ED won't help you get into Duke. HTH.

I know people who got into UVA and Michigan RD with those numbers. ED is probably the safer option if you don't mind sticker. Realistically, retake.

joeshmo - a regular dude with a 164 and similar GPA - got into Mich this cycle. You'll most likely be in UVA via ED as well.

Roughly similar numbers, in at Chicago and UVA.
But as I've said numerous times, had I known what I know now, I would have retaken.

This is me, same LSAT higher GPA than OP. Going to UVA. Knowing what I know now, I would have retaken. 2 more times if necessary.

+1.
Take a good hard look at your LSAT. I almost want to kick myself for not retaking. I was on track to get a freaking 175 and then missed 12 questions in the last LR section. Find out where the kinks are and knock it out of the park in October.

Seriously, I missed 12 or 13 on RC. That was worse than my diagnostic lol. Could have easily scored in mid 170s had I given it another solid go. Took my 5 point gain from diag to test day and gave up. Regret it. But I'm going to a good school so whatever.

You might get in. All my applications were in before Oct. 1. Or! Next year's cycle will not be as generous and you'll hate us for giving you false hope

ED UVA if you aren't retaking. I'd be surprised if you didn't get in ED early in the cycle. It'd be really nice to know you're T14 secure within 2 weeks of sending in your app (Having your cycle finish in august/september will save you a ton of stress)
The only problem is the cost. UVA is almost 260k at sticker

Pretty good I'd imagine but you'll be paying sticker, which could bite you. With your GPA, you get your score to the low-mid 170s you are looking at maybe HYS and in at CCN with $$$... If retaking is an option, I would do it in your shoes.
