LSP is useless unless you are a very cut and dry, standard white candidate with normal credentials. If you're a splitter, reverse splitter, or a URM, don't even bother. LSN is way more useful.

Both LSP and LSN should have been a bit off this year because with apps down it should be easier to get into schools looking to maintain medians. It pays to pay attention to trends.

You said you were surprised you got rejected at a school because you got a "consider" on LSP. I'd say that is pretty dumb.

LSP is vastly inferior to LSN. LSN is for people who know how to read a graph and can do their own homework. I'd recommend it over LSP 100% of the time.

Yeah but the "racism" was implying Asians are smart, which makes it not as offensive.

Anyway if there is one thing LSP should incorporate, its having a built in GPA floor for schools. LSP does take into account splitter friendliness/unfriendliness of schools but at some point an applicant has virtually no chance with a certain GPA, regardless of the rest of their application.

LSP is a nice, quick estimate of your chance. The more "unique" you are (softs, URM, splitterness) then the less reliable it is. Then you use the schools LSP gives you and look them up on LSN for a more accurate picture. Both have their purpose IMO
