I think you have a decent shot at the T14 due to your LBGT status. Your GPA is at median for most of these schools, so really, it comes down to how much of a bump being gay gives you. This depends on the school of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if you got in at least one, maybe two.

Do you think applying ED for all schools would give me a boost? Say, have everything complete the day they begin accepting apps?? Of course, I'd write any/all optional essays, and why xLawSchool.

I thought TLS has resoundedly confirmed that LGBT does not provide any kind of URM boost whatsoever... Can someone chime in please?

You have an amazing story to tell, and with a well-crafted personal statement I think both Cornell and Berkeley are absolutely possible. I wouldn't focus on your LGBT status, but rather your family circumstances and the way you've managed to pull yourself out of a very difficult situation.
