T6
GPA: 3.91 (deans list + 1 academic award)
LSAT: Scoring around 171-173 for PT's
Softs:
1) Took Korean as an elective for 2 years and will be teaching english in South Korea for 1+ years. Hopefully by the end I'll be adequately fluent
2) Worked at a law firm for 1 summer
3) Really interested in gender and I've taken 1 graduate level seminar in my last year. So i'm considering doing a masters.
I realize people don't like giving opinions without real LSAT scores but maybe you could humour me? As for when I'd be applying, I'm currently in my last year of undergrad. After that it's a year in Korea plus maybe a masters. So at the earliest i'll be sending my applications out in september. For my letters of rec, they should be decent. Both profs know me fairly well. The only problem is, I'm going to ask my Korean teacher and her english is not 100% perfect. Do you think that's a problem? Lastly, I'm Canadian and will be applying as an international student. Given the cost of attending a school in the US I would really only consider going if I get accepted into the t6.
Caveats:
I have 1 W on my transcript, I've taken 2 courses pass/fail and I registered for a couple intro courses in my last 2 years.
As unrealistic as it is given my softs, Stanford is my first choice. What do you guys think?

Re: T6
Lets assume the W is punitive. Lets also assume your 3.91 represents 6 semesters of 16 credit course work.
16*6=96 Subtract 4 for the W = 92
So you have (3.91 X 92+4W)/96 = GPA
W is 0 (3.91 X 92)/96=3.74
So the real question is what are your chances of Stanford with a 3.74 and (lets split the difference and say 172). Well your soft's are not impressive for SLS (though they could be a lot worse). So lets predict you slightly under perform what your numbers would indicate.
Law School Predictor would say you have a 50/50 shot. Thats the best answer I can give--cuz im much to lazy to mine and analyze lsn for you.
If the W is not punitive then lsp gives you about a 70% shot at SLS

It's not punitive. I would never have dropped the course if it was. Thanks for the reply.

Re: T6
So you guys don't think my (lack of) softs will automatically keep me out of Y or S? Anyone have an opinion on a non-native speaker writing a LOR?
