Lol that is kind of funny, hadn't realized the irony of that to be honest. Lolita is actually the name of an orca that has been in captivity at Miami Seaquarium in horrible conditions for close to 30 years now. There is a big movement around the world to have her freed. Well, in that case, since I could actually be helpful...looking at LSN from 2010-2011, it seems you have a decent shot.

Not sure how they view multiple scores, though. There's a big difference between a 154 and a 162, it looks like.

According to the schools' profile on tls:
http://www.top-law-schools.com/psu-law.html
They take the highest LSAT score... which likely means you'll be in with $$

Re: 162, 3.81, Chances at Penn State?
I am aware of the numbers and whatnot. My concern though is their residency requirement. I have heard that certain state schools are forced to reject numerically adequate applicants that they would otherwise accept because they are not residents, making these schools tough to to break into if you are an out-of-stater. I am not a resident of PA. I am from down south actually. That's why I am asking. Thanks you guys for the info/resources thus far.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. I applied to Penn State last cycle with worse stats than you (159 and 3.7). I'm from Arizona and they accepted me with $$.

OP: Just curious, why the preference towards Penn State? FYI, it's not affiliated with U Penn...

I don't know what your chances are, but you better be careful where you shower.

Wait, so you're telling me that they're NOT associated with UPenn in any way at all? You can't be serious...InGoodFaith wrote:OP: Just curious, why the preference towards Penn State? FYI, it's not affiliated with U Penn...

Penn State is sending fee waivers to pretty much anybody right now. Wouldn't be surprised if their medians dropped drastically due to the scandal..

Please. The coaching staff's failure to report a crime has little to do with the quality of their law program.S-IV wrote:Penn State is sending fee waivers to pretty much anybody right now. Wouldn't be surprised if their medians dropped drastically due to the scandal..
Slight drop? Conceivable. Drastically? That's ridiculous.
