3.89/ 176... Weakish softs, Harvard?

Post by caminante » Mon Oct 24, 2011 10:58 pm

So I have a 3.89 and a 176. I've been out of UG for 2 years working an unrelated job. There isn't anything particularly remarkable about my resume. What are my chances for Harvard? LSP says strong consider, but most of the people on LSN with my numbers seem to have better softs...

Bump. I'm especially concerned about H because my husband has a job prospect in Boston. I'm going to have to relocate for law school so finding a place where he can get a job is a huge priority.

Your chances at H are very good. Honestly, just the 2 years of WE puts you decently ahead of a lot of applicants in terms of the softs H likes.

You have a really, really good chance-especially since you aren't straight out of undergrad. I'd say as long as your recs and PS are decent, you are in. I'm in a similar situation, so let me know how it goes.

You have really high chances man, not a lock but close imo. The two years doesn't hurt, it helps. GL
