Re: 168/3.90 ED Where?
I think Chicago's the highest ranked school where you have a realistic chance. You also have a chance at MVPBDNCG, especially C.

Re: 168/3.90 ED Where?
I realize that my chances are very slim for CCN. Would applying ED to any of them help at all? Or should I ED at the MVP level?

Re: 168/3.90 ED Where?
Unless you really prefer CCN over MVP, I would ED to MVP. Your chances at CCN are very small - even with ED - and if you do not ED to MVP you may be WL or rejected at all three.
Respectfully,
Someone who EDed to UChicago with 168/3.91 and was rejected last cycle.

Re: 168/3.90 ED Where?
I would really prefer CCN, but I do not want to risk getting rejected from MVP, so from what I understand, I should ED to MVP? If so, which one of MVP should I ED to, assuming I want to practice in NY?

Re: 168/3.90 ED Where?
Bump....
So I've decided to EA to Cornell, and maybe either ED to UVA or Penn. If I want to practice in NY, which should I ED to or should I not ED at all and stick with Cornell since I've heard Cornell places well in NY?

Either one would do well in NY. Id say ED UVA.So I've decided to EA to Cornell, and maybe either ED to UVA or Penn. If I want to practice in NY, which should I ED to or should I not ED at all and stick with Cornell since I've heard Cornell places well in NY?

Re: 168/3.90 ED Where?
I had almost exactly same stats as you last year. I would ED to the school in the top 10 you really want to attend. Don't waste an ED on any school in top ten with those stats that isn't your first pick, and I wouldn't recommend using it beyond Chicago/NYU. The reason I say this is that your score puts you in the running for MVPBNCD.., but in my experience, you will end up being accepted at some you shouldn't have been accepted at, and you will get waitlisted/rejected at some because some you should have gotten in. For example, I was W/L at Chicago, got into V and M, but then W/L at Cornell. You really can't say any school is a lock, although you should get into a few schools in the T-14. Also, if you don't have a first pick, I would use your ED to a school that tends to put more emphasis on LSAT(for instance, between uva and M, UVA has higher median LSAT, so I would use on UVA), just my opinion.

I don't think this gets said enough, ED where you want to go.
