Hi,
I would like to go to law school on the West Coast but am open to law schools in the western half of the country as well. With my gpa of 3.65 and lsat of 160 I'm currently applying to pepperdine, university of washington, lewis and clark, ucla, and usc. Taking into account my gpa and lsat, are there other law schools i should consider as well?

Thanks for your help!!

I think Pepperdine School of Law overall is a great school and really try to look after their students. My concern is the new Dean. Lets be fair, she is no Dean Star. I have meet her at some functions and she seems like a little old granny who is way out of her depth. She does not have the Charisma, respect or name recognition that Dean Star does. I think they will go downhill with this choice.

Peperdine, Hastings, and Davis are not worth sticker price and that is what you would be paying if you applied with your current numbers; 200k in debt for meager job prospects just doesn't work out to well for anyone.

If you want to work on the west coast you should really try to go to either USC or UCLA. So you should probably retake the LSAT, with a 167-168 you would have a shot at USC, would need a 169+ for UCLA. Alternatively, if you have established ties to wherever you want to work on the West Coast BU or BC might be options to consider if they are cheaper than any of your other options.
