well, honestly, I've been hitting the law school predictor and Law School Probability Calculator like no other that I can probably even see them in my dreams.
I'm just interested in opinions real people could give, rather than what an online calculator gives me since I've noticed after browsing through the forum here, people tend to have slightly different ideas about the chances where people can get in than what the predictor gives....

I'd ED to UVA. You're exactly at the median with your GPA, so it's by no means a lock, but with the 15-day turnaround, it's silly not to try. I'd also consider an ED to Mich since you're above median GPA and only 2 points below the LSAT. It's definitely not a lock either, but I think you have a shot.

I don't think Chicago is in the cards for you unless you can bump your LSAT up. Who knows though, sometimes reverse splitters get all the luck. With an early, polished app, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't get Cornell.

Applied with similar numbers and got waitlisted at every single school on that list except Emory... didn't apply. Go deeper, if for nothing else at least see what kind of scholarships are out there.

I also had extremely similar numbers (same LSAT, virtually same GPA) and also was waitlisted at all those on your list I applied to, except Berkley, who dinged me.

I did make it onto Reserve to Cornell, had to withdraw before they decided. I think I'd have had a shot if I'd done EA, so if that's where you'd like to go, I'd do EA, it's probably your best bet.

I'd be petrified if I ended up with no option but becoming a bum for a year aka getting rejected from all of them.
Is that a valid reason to go to law school?

With your numbers, you certainly stand a chance at Cornell, but it is doubtful you would be admitted to any other T14 schools. I'd imagine you would be waitlisted by most of them, though perhaps you will get a lucky bite from 1. You should really focus your efforts on schools in the 15-25 range.

LSP is far too generous to semi-reverse splitters.

Shot at Berkeley, shot at MVP ED (especially V) but next to none RD, no chance at Chicago

You should be in everywhere else. Also: add Cornell to your list.

OP: You should receive good news from USC, BU, BC & Emory. Others depend upon whether or not applications are down.
