ED to UVA is not going to work without a higher LSAT. You have a good shot at UT already, with an outside shot at M and decent shot at Cornell too. I wouldn't ED anywhere but maybe UM if I were you. They would still give you money if you do raise your LSAT before you get in, and if you do raise your LSAT, you'd probably feel pretty badly about being at UVA for full price when it would have meant foregoing UT for cheap.advocate1 wrote:So I have a 3.59 GPA from a top 5 school. Upward trend every semester. I got a 168 on the June LSAT. I am planning on retaking in Oct. and hoping for a 170+. Strong softs and LORs non-urm. TX resident. Willing to pay sticker. I would like to be in the south (not a must).
I am planning on applying ED to UVA. I am expecting a WL or rejection. Then I would ED somewhere else. I am blanketing t-14 and then adding some t-20 and safeties. If my two EDs don't work out UT would be my top choice. I might even want UT more than higher ranked schools but as a slight splitter I am not willing to take the chance of missing out on all of the t-14 by not EDing somewhere.
What are thoughts on this plan? And what school should I ED to if UVA doesn't work out? Especially if I am stuck with my 168
