I know my GPA significantly reduces my chances at a T14 acceptance and to those in California (I'm a CA resident so I'll still give it a shot). I'm trying to cut back on apps so help please? Chances at these schools?

Easily t14. Throw in HYS as well. You may have a decent chance there with the current numbers.

GPA is too low for HYS. Don't ED anywhere...URM cycles are unpredictable and you don't want to foreclose any potential opportunities.

I actually quite like your list. I anticipate lower T14, at the very least. Unless you have a thing for full scholarships at T25s.

FWIW, I know an AA male who got Boalt with a 3.15/164...make sure you write the four page PS and apply early.

Good luck :)

basically this. The gpa is the only thing holding you back, because URMs are typically given an LSAT "boost" but not as much of a gpa "boost"

Blanket the T14 and the other schools you listed early and you'll have a good cycle!

Blanket the T14, if you haven't received fee waivers yet, request them. Apply to as many Top 25 schools as you see feasible. As others already stated, don't ED anywhere; URM cycles are unpredicatable. So, you owe it to yourself to apply to every T14 school. You won't know how your GPA effected you until you apply. Leave nothing to chance. Possibly you have a great story to share that may deeply resonate with the T14 adcoms.

Good luck with your cycle; create an account  http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com
