3.59 gpa / 162 lsat - Chances at BC / BU

Post by dill26 » Sun Sep 11, 2011 10:56 pm

had a 3.59 gpa with a strong upward trend throughout the 4 years from a great university. Got a 162 on the lsat.

I have 2 years of great work experience - started my own successful business.

What are my chances of getting into Boston College or BU?

Not good. I would almost say definitely out. With that GPA, you prolly need a 167 to be competitive at either.

You never know. This guy got in last cycle. But this person is obviously the exception and not the rule.

Edit: He was above one of their medians though.

OP you'll probably need a 166+ lsat to be competitive at BU/BC. An upward trend can help but being below both medians is typically a deathblow for law school admissions.

If you really want BU/BC I'd say you should consider retaking the lsat.
